Music Icon David Bowie dies of cancer at age 69 after 18 months cancer battle

David Bowie, a music legend who used daringly androgynous displays of sexuality and glittering costumes to frame legendary rock hits "Ziggy Stardust" and "Space Oddity", has died of cancer.

He was 69.

"David Bowie died peacefully today surrounded by his family after a courageous 18-month battle with cancer," read a statement on Bowie's Facebook page dated Sunday.

Rihanna and Drake collaborating on new music and music video

Rihanna and Drake may be collaborating on a new song, and filming a music video to go along with it! The twosome were spotted in Los Angeles on January 9 filming, according to eyewitnesses, and snippets of a hot song were captured. 

The duo are working on a song called "Work" for Riri's new album ( eighth album) called "ANTI"

Bayelsa State Election: Incumbent Governor Dickson Seriake Declared Winner

The results for the Bayelsa state elections has been completely collated by INEC and the incumbent governor of Bayelsa state has been declared winner of the governorship election. Having won the rerun election in Southern Ijaw LG, Seriake was declared winner of the election by INEC. He pulled a total of 134,998 votes to defeat APC's Timipre Sylva who pulled 86,852 votes.

“Henry Dickson Seriake, having satisfied the requirements of the law and scored the highest number of votes, is hereby declared the winner and is returned elected. This is signed by the returning officer dated this 10th day of January 2016,” the Returning Officer said
